2. Start Your Free Trial

90 days, all features, no card required. Here's how it works.

What this section covers: How to request a trial, what happens once you do, what you can do during the 90 days, and what your options are at the end of the trial period.

What the trial includes

The free trial gives you full access to everything — no features are held back, and no payment details are required to get started. You have 90 days to try the system properly, with your own content, and make a considered decision.

  • Full access to all features for 90 days
  • Your site hosted on a yourname.churchnet.co subdomain
  • Login credentials for you and any additional administrators
  • Support from Adrian throughout the trial period
  • No obligation to continue — and no awkward conversations if you decide not to
Tip: Involve your administrator early

If you have a church administrator or a volunteer who will be maintaining the site long-term, involve them from the start of the trial. It's much better to discover any reservations during the 90 days than after you've committed.

How to start

Send a message

Visit the contact page and send a brief message. Just your name, email address, and the name of your parish or benefice is enough. Tick the box to indicate you'd like to start a free trial.

We set up your trial site

Adrian will set up your trial site and send you login details, usually within one working day. The site will be at yourparish.churchnet.co to start with — this can be moved to your own domain name if you continue.

Log in and explore

You'll receive login details for manage.churchnet.co — the admin panel where all content is managed. Start with the setup guide in the next section to get your content online.

At the end of the trial

If you'd like to continue, Adrian will invoice you for the subscription — £120/year or £10/month, whichever you prefer. Payment is by cheque, bank transfer, or standing order. If you don't want to continue, just let him know and that's that — no hard feelings.

What you can do during the trial

Everything. The trial is not a limited demo — it's the full system. During your 90 days you can:

  • Add all your churches, people, and contact details
  • Upload photos and documents
  • Create service rotas, events, and news items
  • Set up email addresses and forwarding
  • Invite other administrators to help manage the site
  • Allow congregation members to sign up for email updates
  • Use the site publicly — share the link with your congregation
Domain names

If you want to use your own domain name (e.g. stmarysparish.org.uk) rather than the churchnet.co subdomain, let Adrian know early in the trial so this can be arranged in time. If you already own a domain, it can usually be pointed at your new site within a few days.
