About Churchnet
A small specialist operation, run by someone who has worked in the parishes it serves.
Founded and run by Rev Adrian Miller
Churchnet was built from the inside. Adrian Miller is an ordained Church of England minister who developed the CMS system while working as a parish priest in Norwich Diocese. He saw the problem first-hand — churches that needed good tools but couldn't afford agency prices, and platforms that were built for generic businesses rather than parish life.
The website system was his answer to that. Over time, Churchnet has grown to include burial ground mapping and fire safety — services that came from the same source: churches telling him what they actually needed help with.
Adrian has a professional background in IT as well as ministry, and has been passionate about every church having a good online presence from the start. He still receives the odd comment from a baptism family or wedding couple saying how surprised they were to find such a good church website — and that still matters to him.
Churchnet is not a startup. It's not trying to grow into something else. It's a specialist, intentionally small, built on long-term relationships with the parishes it serves. Several have been using the system for seven to nine years.
What you can expect from Churchnet
Direct contact
You deal with Adrian — not a support ticket system or a rotating helpdesk. Response is prompt and personal.
Honest advice
If something isn't right for your church, you'll be told. Churchnet isn't trying to sell where it isn't needed.
Long-term reliability
Several parishes have been using the website system for seven to nine years. The system is actively maintained and supported.
Priced for churches
The financial pressures on smaller churches are real and well understood. Pricing is set accordingly — not extracted from whatever the market will bear.
What churches say
What Adrian created for us in the Tas Valley Team Ministry, was excellent. We've been using the website for about 9 years, and it continues to impress. I am not a technology expert by any means, but even I can use it.
I liked the site we used in my curacy so much that I got another ChurchNet site set up for my new churches as soon as I became an incumbent in Devon. Our church administrator keeps it up-to-date and it works a treat.
After we discovered the Tas Valley website, I've maintained the website ever since — about 7 years now. Adrian has always been reliable and quick to respond to any issues that have arisen.
After I left my curacy where we were using a ChurchNet website, I found we really needed a new website. Even though we are a single parish benefice, I went with what I knew, and got a ChurchNet website up and running within weeks. I tend to handle the content, and I especially like the automatic email updates. I very quickly signed up lots of church members.
