Preference for Godparents

Godparents

Enter as much as you would like at this stage. If you know who you would like to act as godparents, please list the name and postal address of each of them in the space below. Please also indicate whether they are each baptised and/or confirmed.

NB To qualify as a godparent in the Church of England, the law states that someone must be baptised and confirmed, but that the local minister has the right to dispense with the requirement of confirmation. Your vicar will talk with you more about this if required.

The Baptism Service

Church Service

Baptisms always take place during a regular Sunday service, and it may not always be possible to have the date you would most prefer - but we will do our best to support you in your decision and accommodate what would be most convenient as much as we are able.

Readings are usually set, but please note below any favourite hymns or additional readings you might like.

Also, note whether your party might like to stay behind after the service for refreshments with the church family, or if you have any special requests, or anything else you'd like to ask or note.
